Honors Orchestra Festival
The ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Honors Orchestra Festival is a one-day educational and performance experience for outstanding high school string students from across the region. Students are nominated by their orchestra directors or private teachers in recognition of their musical achievement, leadership, dedication and potential.
Honors orchestra participation is an important distinction for young musicians. It gives students the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside other highly motivated peers while working closely with university faculty, conductors and collegiate musicians — culminating in a side-by-side concert with the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Symphony Orchestra.
