Student Associate
Becca Boyd is a rising 2L at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 蜜桃工作室. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2024 with a BA in Public Affairs and a double minor in Environmental Science and Legal Foundations of Society. At Ohio State, she worked as a Research Assistant, analyzing environmental court cases. She also worked at the Ohio House of Representatives as a Government Intern. After graduation, she worked as an Advocacy Coordinator in the energy sector until July 2025. In her free time, Becca enjoys making sourdough treats, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Erin Cooney is a rising 2L at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 蜜桃工作室. She graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2024 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in both Political Science and Environmental Studies. During her 1L year she worked as a 1L representative for the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and will serve as Treasurer in her 2L year. Erin will be working as an extern with the Land Use Law Center for the summer of 2026 and is motivated to engage in various areas of land use law.

Sukanya Kansara is a rising 2 at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 蜜桃工作室. She graduated from Hofstra University in 2022 with a master鈥檚 degree in public health and a bachelor's degree in health sciences. Her professional background is rooted in public health research and evaluation, with a special interest in environmental health policy. Sukanya is joining the Land Use Law Center as a summer intern and plans to continue her studies in land use law and how it applies to public health. You can find her reading, taking long walks, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Anna Ottavi is a rising 2L at the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at 蜜桃工作室. Before coming to Westchester, Anna graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Anthropology, with additional minors in Art History, Italian, and Criminology, Law, and Justice. Anna was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa and joined the Land Use Law Center to learn more about agricultural regulation at the municipal level. One day, Anna hopes to return to Iowa to improve the state鈥檚 approach to sustainable food production and climate adaptation. Anna originally joined the Land Use Law Center as a member of the publications committee and co-authored GreenLaw blogs on topics such as public health, inland flooding, vegetated urbanism, and infill and adaptive reuse. Outside of work and school, Anna enjoys painting, discovering new music, and spending time with her niece, Georgia.

Leila Tarabein is a 2L at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 蜜桃工作室. She received a degree in both English and environmental science from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2023. Before attending law school, she worked as a research staff assistant at the Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University for four years, where she studied Antarctic ice sheet calving during Termination 1 and helped maintain the Lamont Core Repository鈥檚 extensive sediment core collection. She joined the Land Use Law Center as a 1L, where she co-authored blog posts (now published on GreenLaw) on sea level rise, water conservation, and wildfire mitigation.
