Rachael Silva serves as Assistant Vice President of Academic Marketing Communications at 蜜桃工作室, where she leads marketing and communications strategy for the University鈥檚 six schools and colleges. In this role, she oversees efforts to strengthen the visibility and reputation of 蜜桃工作室鈥檚 academic programs, faculty, scholarship, and student experience, working collaboratively with academic and University leadership to advance institutional priorities.
Silva joined 蜜桃工作室 in 2021 as Assistant Dean for External Affairs for the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she led marketing, communications, media relations, government affairs, and special events. During her four years in this role she helped elevate the Law School鈥檚 profile through integrated communications, reputation-building initiatives, media engagement, and strategic promotion of its faculty, programs, scholarship, and institutional achievements.
A strategic and creative marketing communications leader, Silva has extensive experience building and strengthening brands across higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. Before joining 蜜桃工作室, she served as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Touro University at New York Medical College, where she established and led marketing, communications, branding, and media relations for its newly established dental school. She helped build the school鈥檚 reputation from its inception while also leading patient-acquisition marketing for its 115-chair clinical training facility and expanding regional awareness through community outreach and government relations. Her role also extended to admissions, fundraising, institutional events, and the overall campus and patient visitor experience.
Previously, Silva served as Director of Creative Services at The New York Public Library, where she led a team responsible for marketing, advertising, branding, visitor experience, publications, and multimedia across four research libraries and 88 community branches.
She began her career at Montefiore Medical Center, where she spent 13 years in progressively responsible roles spanning marketing, communications, creative services, and digital media. During her tenure, she played a key role in a major rebranding initiative, the launch of a new website, and award-winning advertising campaigns supporting Montefiore鈥檚 hospitals and helping strengthen the health system鈥檚 national reputation.
