KSU Kickoff is a four-day welcome to your new home and introduction to your 蜜桃工作室 family. You will engage in activities to familiarize yourself with the 蜜桃工作室 community, make new friends, aid in academic success, and meet different faculty and staff from around campus.
Attending your assigned check-in for KSU Kickoff is imperative to having a successful welcome week experience. At your check-in, you will meet with an assigned student Peer Success Mentor who will go over the basics of the KSU Kickoff mobile app, schedule of welcome events, your first Flashes 101 course, information on a variety of campus resources, and taking any of your questions. Your assigned check-in will be based on if you are either a first-time college student living on campus in a residence hall (residential student), a first-time college student commuting to campus (commuter student), or a transfer student new to 蜜桃工作室 (transfer student). Based on your status, you will attend one of the below. Please note that there are no times assigned within these check-in periods and that attendance is tracked.
KSU Kickoff has many required events for new first-year students. This includes students living on campus or commuting. New transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend KSU Kickoff events as well.
The KSU Kickoff app will release content relevant to the welcome week experience, including a full schedule of events. Events that are mandatory are marked as required. You will have an opportunity to create a personalized schedule in the KSU Kickoff app.
All first-year students should use the KSU Kickoff app during the welcome week experience. The KSU Kickoff app, which is a totally separate app from KSU Mobile, will guide you through the welcome week experience and will keep you informed of important updates during your first week on campus.
