Refresh, Refocus, and Return: Healthy Transitions into the New Academic Year

Join us for sessions this month curated to bring about the healthiest, happiest you:

PNC Series: Financial Wellness

Employee Benefits and Wellness partners with PNC not only for HSA and FSA accounts, but for your entire financial wellness journey! PNC has curated a variety of self-guided and instructor-led financial wellness webinars for ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ employees. Next up: on August 13.

Healthy Habits Challenge

Our next Wellness challenge starts Sept. 1, so be sure to sign up this month! This challenge is all about building habits that help you feel better day to day — more energy, better focus, and a stronger sense of well-being. Instead of quick fixes, we’re focusing on small, consistent actions that support your body and mind over time. Participants will focus on movement, fuel from healthy foods, prioritizing rest and staying consistent.

Beat the Heat this Summer

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety has compiled the following tips for staying safe as we make our way into some of Ohio's hottest months:

Stay Hydrated

  • Drink water frequently, even if you don't feel thirsty. Avoid caffeine and energy drinks, which can contribute to dehydration.

Dress for the Weather

  • Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing. And don't forget hats, sunscreen, and sun protection tools like umbrellas!

Watch for Signs of Heat Exhaustion

  • Heavy sweating, dizziness or lightheadedness, headaches, and muscle cramps might mean it's time to get out of the heat.

AllOne Health

As ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ employees, you have access to many mental health resources. We want to highlight AllOne Health, our FREE Employee Assistance Program. AllOne Health is available 24/7 to you and members of your household, and offers up to six complimentary counseling sessions per person, per occurrence with face-to-face, telephonic, video or chat options.

In addition to counseling services, the program provides a range of resources to support your overall well-being, including financial wellness services such as budgeting assistance, educational webinars focused on stress reduction and personal wellness, work-life support services, referrals for child and elder care, legal and financial consultations, and other tools designed to help you manage life's challenges both at work and at home.
