IN A FLASH: A Place of Quiet Contemplation

The fountain at the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Student Memorial Garden.

  â€œAlways in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ students who have died.   The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from Undergraduate Student Government and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. Judging Information

Judging is done by the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Alumni Association. The alumni association will review and make determinations for all award categories and reserves the right to suggest alternate awards based on the nominee’s qualifications and experience.

Important Eligibility Information

  • Current ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ full-time staff members who are alumni are only eligible for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
  • Alumni who are previous ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ staff members will not be considered for another Alumni Award category sooner than five years after the individual’s separation from ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ as an employee, and consideration of eligibility, accomplishments and service for any given award shall be for the time period after separation from the university as an employee.
