This scholarship is funded by College Town ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ, LLC and is designated to be used toward tuition for a Hospitality and Event Management student.
The recipient of this scholarship must have engaged in community work that demonstrates social consciousness, or be overcoming challenges and serve as an inspiration to future generations of Hospitality Management students.
ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Police investigated an unverified threat at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Hall that was received this morning. University police worked with federal and other law enforcement partners to assess the threat. Based on the investigation, police have determined that the threat is not credible. The threat is similar to those received recently at other schools and institutions. The Student Venture Funds were established to help support student-initiated businesses that have been approved by the John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship. The Venture Assessment Grant is geared toward students with a proposed business while the Venture Growth Grant is intended for students that have a completed business plan, feasibility analysis and are committed to launching the venture.
