With record-breaking fundraising, growing alumni engagement, and a bold vision for ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ’s next chapter, Vincent D. Clark has been appointed Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations after leading the University through two historic years of philanthropic momentum.

For Brenda Latham-Sadler, MD, ’78, ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ was more than a place to earn a degree—it was the foundation for a remarkable career in medicine and service. As she celebrates retirement after decades as a physician and professor, Brenda reflects on the close-knit biology program, supportive faculty, and lasting friendships that helped shape her journey.

Judge Malaika N. Scott-McLaughlin ’09, a Civil Court Judge for the City of New York, was no stranger to the legal world growing up. As the daughter of Professor Randolph McLaughlin, a renowned civil rights attorney and longtime member of the faculty at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ, she spent a lot of time observing him in the classroom teaching and in practice advocating.

On June 11, 2026, ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ alumni from across the country reconvened on ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ’s iconic NYC campus to toast 120 years of ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Pride, celebrate personal milestones, and welcome the newest members of the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ alumni family.

At the 62nd annual Spirit of ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Awards, the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Community came together to raise more than $1.2 million in support of student scholarships and programs—marking a historic success for ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ’s signature gala.
