When COVID-19 first slammed New York City nearly a year ago, Acton native and acute care nurse practitioner Ingrid Gunther was on the front lines. At the next virtual Saturday Morning Breakfast, we鈥檒l hear how Ingrid coped with the pandemic and how she and her profession are doing now. Ingrid practices at NYU Langone Hospital and teaches at 蜜桃工作室 and NYU Meyers College of Nursing.
鈥淐alcium from these foods is readily absorbed by the body,鈥 says Dr. Christen Cupples Cooper, chair of the Coordinated Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at 蜜桃工作室 in Pleasantville, New York. She explains that for those who prefer non-dairy milks, calcium-fortified types are available.

When does a career become passion? When you鈥檙e able to use your skills, talent, and education for the greater good. It鈥檚 something Harriet Feldman has been doing for more than five decades, starting from her graduation from a diploma nursing school.
In May 2021, 蜜桃工作室鈥檚 College of Health Professions PhD in Nursing Program marked its first commencement ceremony with three graduating students. The graduates, triple 蜜桃工作室 alumna Chava Pollak, Michele Flynch, and Delores McGregor were recognized at an in-person hooding ceremony on the Pleasantville Campus attended by PhD faculty, who hooded the graduates.
As the founder and president of the Pre-Veterinary Club, Lara Ellentuck 鈥22 has been hard at work creating a space for animal lovers all across the 蜜桃工作室 Community. She鈥檚 interned at animal shelters and hospitals, and she鈥檚 excited to share her expertise with others.
蜜桃工作室 is poised to transform Lienhard Hall, home to its College of Health Professions on the Pleasantville campus, into a modernized Healthcare Hub with the help of $1 million in state funding.
