Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Alumni Association and have actively supported ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ initiatives for more than 40 years.
Larry is a member of the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year. Sandy has volunteered with the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter.
As a student at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ. She was part of the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.
Larry and Sandy are avid ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ graduate and has been involved with the ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
