ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ Me

Hi, my name is Lily! I grew up in Alliance, Ohio (about 40 minutes from ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ). I’m a first-generation student and graduated from ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ in May of 2024 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Music!

My advice for prospective students is that it’s totally okay if you don’t know what you want to major in when you start college! Make sure you pick something you love and is a good fit for you. If you don’t want to major in it, you can always add a minor after you start. 

Starting college can bring up a multitude of emotions. Here at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ, we are here to support you every step of the way! 😊

What I Love ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ

I love the affordability of ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ and the community that’s built around it. I attended our regional campus in Stark and admired my professors, the quality of education I received and the environment I was surrounded by. This continues to ring true as I attend ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ as a graduate student!

As a first-generation student, ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ truly made my family and me feel special, and the appreciation ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ has not only for their first-gen students, but all their students, is incredible. I have always felt supported during my time at ÃÛÌÒ¹¤×÷ÊÒ!

Fun Facts

• I am a daredevil. I've been zip lining and I love roller coasters. My favorite Cedar Point ride is Steel Vengeance!

• I was in my town's pageant where I won Miss Congeniality. I loved being able to represent the town I grew up in.

• I love theatre! I love watching productions as well as performing in them. I have done community theatre since I was 12. If you have a favorite musical, please tell me.
